Morgellons

I have lived with Morgellons, also known as Myiasis, Myiasin and Karjoo Disease since last September. Morgellons is a bodily infestation of flies or parasites. In my case I got fruit flies, which were confirmed by the LA County Department of Agriculture to be harmless black fruit flies. The itching is intolerable. Some sufferers have committed suicide because of it. There are around 15,000 people KNOWN to have it; that does not include people who have not been properly diagnosed. I went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on October 25th and not known to me at that time was treated for psychosis and given Risperdone. This drug has very unpleasant side effects and made me afraid to sleep, because of nightmares. I was not seen by a medical doctor; otherwise they would have seen the black flies clearly under my white translucent skin and in my veins. The skeletons were multiplying rapidly on the gurney next to me.\ White Memorial Medical center also failed to help me, although the nurses were helpful and did accept that I had Morgellons. I saw an infectious disease doctor. It is my opinion that he specializes in AIDS, and he did not diagnose me as having Morgellons, although the marks on my body were very clear. I am a determined woman and I persevered and found Dr. Rahim Karjoo, who has The Morgellons Research Foundation and has spent many years researching the disease. Dr. Karjoo's findings show that silica is the cause of Morgellons. Look Silica up on Wikipedia and you will see how much it is used in everyday items. The Center for Communicative Disease has declared that Morgellons is an imaginary disease. They are wrong. Badly wrong and should be taken to task for their mistake. People are suffering because there is not sufficient knowledge of this disease. I was fortunate, others are not so fortunate Sadly, I spent nearly $1000 on Dr. Karjoo's medication and it didn't work at all.

America for Everybody

President Obama has shown that with our government he can preside over a country that is for all of us regardless of their party affiliation; and not just for the very rich.
